● Arc-resistant PU offers flame-retardant, anti-static, waterproof, and arc explosion-resistant properties, and additionally:
Lightweight: Under the same protection level, it is lighter and thinner than products that gain protective properties only after post-treatment. It is also more lightweight compared to other flame-retardant products. For materials of the same weight, its protection level is significantly higher than similar products.
Stable Functionality: While other similar products use conductive threads woven into the fabric, which can break and lose their anti-static function after washing, arc-resistant PU retains its functionality and does not lose effectiveness or deteriorate after washing.
Health and Environmentally Friendly: Unlike similar products that usually use chemical agents to achieve arc protection, which contain free formaldehyde that can cause allergic reactions, arc-resistant PU is safe, non-toxic, and ensures the health of the wearer from the source.
● Our arc-resistant PU has passed the arc resistance and flame-retardant standard tests (ASTM F1891), with an arc thermal performance value of ATPV = 14 cal/cm² and a material break threshold of EBT = 33 cal/cm².
